Hey there! My name is Lauren and I am so glad you stopped by my website! Teaching In The Know aims to provide tips & tricks for the modern teacher, or really any professional, surrounding work-life balance and simply surviving (& thriving) in this super busy world in which we live!
I have always known that I wanted to be a teacher, but I never imagined the type of chaos that came with it! Teaching In The Know is a place where I will share all of my most real, up-close-and-personal stories and advice on how to tackle life while immersed in this wonderful, yet crazy profession!
My road to becoming a teacher began when I attended Boston University in Boston, MA, and continued when I completed my Masters Degree at Teachers College, Columbia University in New York, NY. I am still currently based in New York City and work as a 3rd grade ESL teacher in a wonderful school in Brooklyn, New York. I’m so excited to have you on this journey with me!
